WASHINGTON – Aug. 12, 2020 – PRLog — Washington, DC

As the prime contractor for MCP, Amida will work with VA to develop and refine hospitalization reporting capabilities related to benefit entitlement reviews and decisions. The initiative also involves an expansion of VA’s data-mapping efforts of Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) to adjudication criteria. Amida will conduct data analytics-based studies of current disability compensation operations to simplify the claims adjudication process for VA employees. Leidos, Deloitte, and VetEZ will support us on this work.

“MCP will provide a comprehensive modernization of the Disability Compensation Program, as well as the programs supporting separating Servicemembers” said Peter L. Levin, Amida’s Co-Founder and CEO. “A modernized claims process means an enhanced digital experience for Veterans and VA employees.  We will integrate computable medical data, advanced analytics, natural language processing, and machine learning to improve and expedite the adjudication of claims. The result is more robust and streamlined service to our Veterans.”
